I can’t believe how many words I’ve written these past couple of days. My fingers have been on fire writing up some of the steamiest scenes I’ve ever dared. Writer’s block has taken the hint and taken a hike.

I haven’t seen much of Slade since the hot tub encounter. He was right about one thing. We both have important deadlines. Spending time together, as much as that’s all I seem to want to do outside of writing, would be incredibly distracting.

So I’ve settled for writing to the soundtrack of his power tools, hoping he’ll need a break from all that work soon enough.

I blaze my way through chapter seven, feeling hot and bothered like no other after leaving my characters stranded in a cabin together with their clothes just starting to fall off. But my achy neck and stiff fingers demand I take a break.

After a coffee refill, I log into social media. The Wi-Fi signal has held strong today. I knocked out a bunch of emails, message responses, and comment replies earlier this morning. But I’m ready to post another delicious update.
